Great perks, but long hours earn them. - Senior Associate Dell Technologies Employee Review

Pros

There are many perks with working with Dell. For example, sometimes when there's a lot of overtime, people who actually complete all the required hours get gift cards to WalMart. Every 3 months we get a free catered lunch and an additional free meal. We receive discounts at various places around Austin. Every year there's a free trip (up to 4 tix) to a theme park. When you do good work, you get opportunities to cash in "Star of Dell" cards. Outstanding employees get chances to win electronics and/or gift cards. There's free raffles almost every other month to win things.

Cons

OVERTIME, OVERTIME, OVERTIME! People with families don't get to spend much time with them. You can't really plan out your weekends because sometimes they give us notices during Friday's shift about coming in on Saturdays and Sundays. You must be flexible with your schedule to work here. But I must say, doubletime paychecks are pretty nice. =)

Pros

At this point? None honestly.

Cons

They did a complete 180 since I got hired. Came in as remote during COVID and now that they forced most people back to the office, they made us 3rd class citizens in the company. Can't get a raise, a promotion, any spiffs or even the same contests that the people in the office do. This company does not keep promises and has been constantly doing workforce reductions ever year like clockwork for 4 years now. The COO Jeff Clarke is an absolute clown as well, you have to go into the office dressed as business casual, but this guy goes to One Dell World in undersized lame t-shirts every year. Hypocrisy at all levels of this company. Just looking for a good opportunity and I am out, after talking to my co workers I feel like 70-80% feel the same. The tools also suck and are down half the time as well.
