Pros

Work/life balance is good, I rarely have to worry about what's going on at the office once I have left for the day.

Cons

Completely destroyed the culture of Interactive Intelligence, it's no longer a fun and relaxed place to work. The people who are still here are all looking to leave as Genesys continues to understaff us and off-shore jobs. Upward mobility is gone and we are being forced to take on new responsibilities for no extra pay to compensate for the lack of staffing. Not sure what customers and partners are going to be left with after CIC support is gutted and outsourced.

Pros

PTO is very generous. Great work life balance. Excellent pay.

Cons

Support gets very little say in anything and continues to get more work. Takes at least a year of drowning before you really know what you are doing with confidence.
