Pros
I have worked on and with several different teams at Genesys, and the people are by far the best part of working there. Smart, hardworking, and collaborative is the norm, not the exception.
Cons
The constant systems issues and lack of IT resources is maddening. Some days our teams can hardly perform their jobs and we cannot trust our applucations and tools to perform consistently from one day to the next. Unfortunately Senior Mgmt and Executives cannot get out of their own way and learn how to lean into true leadership. The politics, jockeying for power, and upward and message managing in place of authentic leadership is toxic and has a detrimental impact on both culture and morale. Either Tony doesn't have a true understanding of what is going on around him, or he isn't the people-first, empathic leader that he portrays himself to be, and he certainly doesn't require it of his direct reports.
