I've finally found a company that gets the value of work life balance. The work hours (and location) flexibility provides that intangible "it" factor from my perspective. Although some people seem to complain on here about low pay - I don't think it's really that much lower than the standards in our market. And again, the value of the flexibility more than makes up for the small gap in my opinion.
I also love that it's not an organization that's in a strangle hold of political correctness! We got a beautiful email from HR to wish us all a Merry Christmas in December 2015 - and even went to great lengths to detail the history of the Christmas Holiday. It was like a breath of fresh air!
Unlimited Paid Time off is amazing too. You'd think this type of policy would lead to abuse of paid time off - but it does just the opposite. Employees feel that they are TRUSTED professionals - and they act accordingly. Nobody ever feels "shamed" for taking time off either.
Cons
No place is perfect, but the big picture of Genesys is just so wildly positive from my perspective, so no real cons!

Appreciate the positive feedback! I do think that being too PC is definitely overrated. We recognize that we have a really diverse employee base, which is why we try to acknowledge a variety of popular holidays from Christmas to Diwali in our offices around the world. Thanks again for all of your comments. ...Tracy Cote, SVP HR
Interesting take on customer experience using AI. Good pay for the role.
Cons
Favoritism amongst certain individuals and teams. I've heard that some sellers were removed from accounts just as they were going to close deals and therefore lost their commission. The messaging is that you can speak to any leader but that is not always the case.
