Pros

CEO - Good Leadership starts at the top. The CEO leads from the front and is very approachable. Always in the office and has an open door policy. Very Technical and willing to dive into problems on the fly. The rest of the management team is also friendly and willing to take escalations and work through problems. Overall the culture and collaborative environment was my favorite part of working there. Lots of fun organized events outside of work.

Cons

No real cons, Just know what you are getting into when working at an MSP. You need to be ready to juggle multiple clients, projects and, priorities. You will also need to document and account for your time and keep accurate records in the ticketing system. This is a requirement at any MSP. Go West was no different and less strict than some MSPs in this area. Some clients can be changeling to work with.

Pros

Aside from a few amazing engineers and technical staff who remain with me- management culture is one of fear, failure, and dysfunction.

Cons

"Leadership" or upper management is anything but. The values at the top here are nothing more than a donut on a whiteboard. With the exception of early career positions there's no reason to work here. Don't take my word for it, ask the more than 20 managers, engineers, or account staff who have been "fired" or left the company in the last 3 years- that's more than 30% of the company. The churn is laughable and my guess is positive reviews are from more than 3 years ago or those early in their position. Ask how many have been at the company or in their role for more than 3 years. The turnover is a death spiral and leadership can't take negative feedback because of their egos, so they closed feedback surveys. #GoElsewhere.
