Pros

Nice people Nice Office Good brand on CV

Cons

Pay is poor versus the market and minimal annual increases Lack of career progression- bottleneck for MD promotion, so it’s about tenure rather than performance and ability (very negative for lateral hires looking to advance) No transparency or clarity about career progression Absolutely no leadership Significant turnover and not replacing departures so everyone is overworked and stressed so that frequent mistakes are made (even in client reporting) and some testy situations among colleagues They say the words about diversity but reality on the ground is not delivered. They host breakfasts and round tables etc for women because of the significant numbers leaving the business, but don’t deliver on what matters:compensation and career advancement. Generally a lot of mediocrity in service delivery to clients; because of significant turnover junior personnel take on key client accounts. Men with low EQ are promoted to key roles and the culture and overall work environment is deteriorating significantly

Pros

The firm encourages and supports to change teams, which is helpful in expanding experience or moving away if you aren't happy with your team

Cons

The promotion has become very opaque lately. They hardly give out promotions, but make you slog and overwork the whole year in the name of it. Basically, you have worked 200% and made to look like a fool by the end of the year.
