Pros

You get to smell a lot of Indian food at your workplace.

Cons

H&M does not value its employees. They're having difficulties keeping on the right side of employment laws and they're not at all in good standing with the Unions. There's a silence culture in H&M where you're not supposed to give any sort of critisism, ever. You'll get warned from your superiors if you have differing views or would like to discuss any directives. Everything is being outsourced to India. Say anything negative about the outsourcing or the performance thereof and you are shown the door. H&M says they're living by their values but they are not, not really. Internally leaders are weak and lash out at employees. The values of being straightforward, a teamplayer and so on is just thrown down the drain. There is no good values being nurtured here, only climbing of management over employees backs by any means necessary. Weak, defencive and cowardly, those are the values being nurtured here.

Pros

Benefits even for part-timers is a huge win! Sick leave, vacation, and community days. Nice management and really friendly coworkers. Decent employee discount. Diverse and welcoming environment.

Cons

Very stressful work environment considering the low pay. Poorly managed and operated. They clearly try to run lean and do as much work with as few people as possible. Very unprofessional overall and a lot of greenwashing.
