Pros
A lovely work atmosphere and culture. Extremely kind members of staff, right from the store manager, floor manager, to my lovely fellow sales assistants. A great bunch of people who I miss massively! Management hired me with zero retail experience because they saw I had potential to be trained and had the personality to suit retail. They're the best first employer.
Cons
Early morning delivery shifts can be gruelling and very physical, but deliveries only happen a few times per week. Usual weekend shop-floor shifts were my norm.
