Cons
Avoid this company like the plague. From January 2020 to April 2021, I endured abysmal pay, a management team that actively disregarded staff well-being, and a soul-crushing work-life imbalance that routinely demanded six-day weeks (often with only one day off between weeks). This is a company that fundamentally disrespects its employees – we were all texted after 2020's Lockdown was announced to come into the office, with pre-booked taxis. It was only after an article was published in Edinburgh Live that we were allowed to work from home and then they shamelessly tried to make staff pay more for the privilege of decent home internet/devices to work more efficiently during a pandemic. Add to that a constant barrage of abusive customers and the indignity of timed toilet breaks, micromanaging and immense burnout that you never recover from until you leave. As a "thanks" for our dedication and hard work during a pandemic, when a pay rise was the bare minimum we deserved, they offered a tokenistic pizza party. If you value your mental health, I strongly advise you look elsewhere.
