Pros
Worked on the sales team as an event coordinator at a smaller property. Coworkers were great, work environment was nice.
Cons
No opportunity for growth as a coordinator/planner, only for those who wanted to be in direct sales. Salary and benefits were not competitive. Treated as another cog in the corporate machine by all the execs.
