      Pros

      Great team spirit and you receive encouragement and support to evolve in your role. A chance to move in between departments and be cross-trained.

      Cons

      Usually as a rule across the company, minimum salary with a very anaemic service charge added to it. Not a great choice of work if you are cannot comply with the highest level of customer service you can offer!

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
