Pros
While many outstanding employees "resigned" after the Blackstone acquisition, there are still quite a few terrific people here - the "old" regime brand management team that is still in place are great leaders who can take the company where it needs to go, despite the obstacles that senior management puts in the way. The company is very forward-thinking, especially in these bad economic times.
Cons
Since the acquisition by Blackstone, the company has lost so many good people. And, the new senior leadership doesn't seem to care about any impact on existing employees nor do they put forth a sincere effort at making this a good place to work where people can be proud. It'll be interesting to see what happens after the probable IPO happens sometime in 2011 or 2012.
