Pros
-As of now, still not much micromanagement - option of office, flex or 100% remote working
Cons
As someone who used to be super proud to work at HubSpot, I Can say, that I wuldn't apply here today the way things are now. Culture, well-being, good benefits, etc are all going down the drain. Just look at the rating.. we used to be voted the top employer, and now the ratings are going down fast... - raising targets while taking away exclusion rules - taking away benefits left and right while demanding a high performance culture. The latest benefit to be taken away was unlimited vacation. Now they call it flexible time off, but don't be fooled because in Germany there is nothig flexible about it.. the contract says minimum 25 days and management says max 25 days...also can no longer take longer than 2 weeks or end of quarter, so literally nothing flexible about this, not to mention that 25 days in German is no benefit at all. - took away our global week of rest...now you can still take the week off but that comes out of your 25 vacation days. I don't know why they are calling it an 'optional week of rest' - salaries based on Berlin salaries/cost of living.. every other country where we have an entity has one of the most expensive cities as the 'anchor' city, in Germany we have Berlin..not Munich, Frankfurt or Hamburg. - lack of training on realistic topics customers need help with - psychological safety and mental health used to be really important topics at hubspot, now there is no mention of either. If you cant handle the work and get burned out, leave. - very few growth and development opportunities unless you want to take a significant pay cut
