They don't treat people as their "greatest asset". - Engineer Jacobs Employee Review

Pros

- If you are lucky to be favoured by the right manager, you'll have great opportunities to attend to international conferences or pursue exciting projects in other offices. It has nothing to do with your technical ability or experience, but rather your rapport with the right manager.

Cons

- Incredibly top heavy, with a number of senior managers using overheads, whose role are to "win work". Grads and mid-level employees tend to be the first to go during redundancies, while seniors remain. - There is a very obvious "boy's club" culture. If you are not part of the club, you are going to have a bad time. - No support for grads in terms of career progression or professional development. They try and keep you at grad level for as long as they can so as to retain the cheap charge-out rate. Many grads end up leaving after 2-3 years to enhance their experience and skills elsewhere. - They recruit all manager/senior positions externally, rather than promoting existing staff. - Employee morale is dwindling fast. There's no such thing as social events for employees or any other similar benefits.
