Pros

Somehow entrusted with large governmental projects. You will find some good people here as you would in most companies however some of the best people are quite disgruntled Travel opportunities seem to be quite prevalent which is good. It seems like US offices in particular are a lot better managed so maybe take advantage of that if you are looking to go here. WFH can be good for work life balance however I’m not convinced it’s good for a company with the culture in such a poor state to embrace this in a permanent level. It just makes all employees a number.

Cons

Too many layers of management and procedures that bog down the few doers in the company with process. Toxic Culture, particularly through Australian and New Zealand offices that seems to get worse every year after the SKM merge which is largely the fault of management and HR/overhead teams focusing on the wrong things and by holding frequent useless town halls and talkfest events that have no significant outcomes. Jobs are actively being outsourced to underpaid offshore teams that also seem to have a revolving door policy which means that delivering quality work extremely hard, be prepared to disappoint all of your clients. Unfortunately a bad reputation in the industry which makes it hard to move on once you’ve realised the above. The company is generally evil in nature. Think nuclear weapons, the boarder wall, donating to trump, oil and gas and finally they have not paid any tax in Australia since the SKM merge, definitely not doing their bit for the community, but hey they do get their employees to pitch in to donate to a charity once a year.
