Pros
Jacobs has had some growing pains over the years, but ultimately I think that they are company that actually tries to give their employees a good work experience. From our flexible and hybrid work schedule to the personalized PTO they do try to encourage work life balance. The benefits are really good and they expand to free therapy sessions and other specialized benefits. I also feel that there is not a culture of pushing yourself beyond your limits because of a dedication to good work. Consulting is a demanding job, but Jacobs does well at remembering their biggest asset is the people.
Cons
Really big company, so you don’t know your coworkers and ‘office culture’ is tough to build. There is a large emphasis on global work which is difficult to manage and still hasn’t been figured out. You can feel distant from upper management because it is so large.
