Pros

Perfect organisation if you'd like to learn and stay on top of the the things (if you are in a client facing role). People are supportive which is important as you almost always work under pressure/stress and deal with multiple clients at once. Great to learn people and management skills and not just technical skills.

Cons

Lately, it felt like KPMG was losing its 'people first' priorities and the 'numbers' took precedence. I think this thing about KPMG stood out from other Big 4s, which looked going downwards a bit. Additionally, the efforts you put, isn't reflected in your pay, and bonus was something only rarest of rare would get.

Pros

It might sound cliche but the Pro for me is the people that I work with. I'm lucky enough to be staffed in a team with great leadership. Managers are actually willing to coach junior members and be a real mentor. I very much appreciate their efforts.

Cons

Long hours and office politics. This is pretty basic and obvious for any public accounting firms. Every time a quarter end, year end, or a special filing is going out, you can expect 10-14 hour days. It might be fine in your early career but it gets really tiring after a few years.
