After offering the ability to work compressed hours for around 20 years the SLT has decided to remove this because ‘it feels like the right thing to do’ In response to staff reaction they sent out a biased survey and tried to convince staff they remain flexible as as employer They tried to conceal the compressed review by making a big fanfare announcement about hybrid working with a small reference to compressed working In a relatively short time in charge they have lost the trust and respect of nearly 65000 employees and are dragging us back to the 1990s They seem hell bent on their own agenda and oblivious to the real world and the financial, emotional and very real impact on their staff by removing compressed hours This is a ruthless decision for which they are showing zero empathy nor are they offering any valid business reason
