Pros
Excellent pay for good performance and many benefits including insurance, retirement savings matching, etc. A challenging job environment and employee improvement structure designed to stretch your abilities.
Cons
Very regimented way of writing code for defense customers who are very picky about minor things. There are many problems with having a cash-strapped single customer for a product. Not the most enjoyable workplace environment (just a cube farm) with laptops given only to management positions (so they can work from their near-constant meetings).
