Pros
*Co-workers are generally fun to work with (probably because we all hate it there) *There are hours *It's hard to get fired
Cons
*Awful/degrading pay *Rude and obnoxious customers *Too much work for too little pay *No regard for the fact that workers have families and outside committments *The ridiculous attendance *points* system *Unprofessional management (they actually gossip about the people they manage) *Unorganized management *STAR's and MAGIC selling... *Being beraded and talked to like a dog by your vendor when Macy's scheduling system gets changed *Unmotivating morning rallies... they try to motivate with coupons and Macy's money... like anyone with an ounce of sense wants to be there any longer than they have to be. *The standing around all day waiting for something to happen (in the summer months) and not to mention the spider veins I've developed since working there (and if I continue to work there I will never be able to afford the laser surgery I will need to correct this). *Trying to motivate people to meet goals with a Chick-Fil-A coupons - SERIOUSLY! How insulting? *Scorecards and the jumping through fire you have to do if you don't have a good week *Dangerous work environment... no woman should have to throw around heavy boxes. I can go on for days... I am honestly ashamed to say I work at this place and I'm seriously looking for another job.
