Pros
20 days PTO Unlimited sick days
Cons
There's so much favoritism within my pyramid that I worked under. It was basically a popularity contest and whether or not the upper management liked you to EVEN CONSIDER you for promotion. Not a single woman in my pyramid was higher than an Analyst II. There's a problem within that area of Mayc's tech where I haven't seen many women in higher level technical roles in the area where I worked. They say they have a "work/life" balance, it depends which team you're on. My team, it was somewhat non-existent. The ableist mentality towards people who have illnesses that they themselves are trying to control is unbelievable. Upper management likes to do a lot of lip service to show that everything is fine, but it's not. A whole bunch of people left there in the ever since the New Year. They make a show on how they are trying to keep their talent. Interim-CTO has an outdated mindset about work from home. Company wide policy is two days, where those under him have one day. This man was so against work from home ever since I started working there about 6 years ago. There's little support to those who truly wants to get some training/conferences, and if it was given, it was to people they liked or already have gone before. They will overwork you and underpay you.
