Pros

Some good colleagues on the same rungs of the ladder. Free alcohol - helps get through the pain of working here

Cons

It's no wonder that students are failing. Pushy sales tactics enrol them into courses they are not suited to and will likely never succeed in. Courses are massively over subscribed - The course I taught had well over 250 students per trainer with no maximum limit to enrolments. Course materials are rushed, cheap, written by staff outside of industry, out of date, minimal and poorly delivered. Middle and upper management have no clue what they are doing, and have gotten to where they are with hefty doses of lip service. Several Program Managers have no training or experience in the course that they oversee, push unattainable KPIs and allow their staff to be bullied and abused by (rightfully) angry students. It seems that upper management is constantly flirting with some offshore investor. The aim of the game is to sign up enrolments as possible, reduce staff numbers, look good on paper, and sell the sinking ship to the next fool. Unethical, unsustainable, soul destroying. Do. Not. Engage.
