The RTO policy is poorly designed. Policy itself has obvious loopholes that weren't addressed prior to implementation, resulting in faulty numbers being reported (for example, vacation/sick days counts as missing attendance). We are now in a "comply or leave" situation where a % attendance target is mandated, and if not met consistently, our job security is threatened regardless of our work performance, which is unfair to top-performers. Additionally, it is unfair to our remote employees. I personally know many talented co-workers who live far away, are either losing time on commute, or losing money on trying to rent closer to the office, which is bad for both energy and morale. Leadership is indifferent/non-transparent about the situation, which raises a lot of eyebrows on their integrity.
