Red Hat is one of the larger contributors to open-source community, and also a great employer. Company culture is special and loyal to people who work there. This is a good place for younger engineers to kick-start their careers and ensure they have enough resources and mentorship. It also offers range of projects to work on, ensuring employees are flexible.
Cons
Sometimes, it can feel stiff and taking extra time when it comes to larger scope decisions by managers given complex hierarchy on particular projects.
