Pros
Great culture. Highly intelligent people across all roles. People help each other out. Very nice overall compensation package (Decent medical insurance options, HSA seeding, 401k matching, ample PTO and holidays, annual company-wide holiday shutdown, bonus plans, stock grants to reward performance, WFH was common even before COVID, etc). Lots of learning and development opportunities. Engaged upper management team. Employees are treated like real people, every time. Strong advocate of open source software.
Cons
As with probably any company that attracts highly skilled and motivated people, there is always a lot happening. That makes it difficult for those (like me) who try to keep ahead of everything. People tend to work much beyond what is required.
