Pros

good benefits after 90 days.

Cons

Whatever you do, do not take the server position in the Barrell Room. Extremely long hours, with a measly 30 minute break. You do the same work and split tips with the rest of your team but you're expected to do much more work and get paid less hourly. They don't value hard work, and that's mainly because they are never up there to see it. MIA management. There's a running joke that management is a team of master manipulators. absolutely no work-life balance. If they want/need for you to stay in your position, you will. If they need to move you to suit their needs in another outlet, they will. Leadership has been proven to be liars and unfair across the board. Ironically, my leader stole tip money, which was unaddressed for the rest of my employment with Ritz. I was told to take my issue to my leader, by the HR director because she "was about to get on a call". (I had been warned that HR does nothing to help employees). The whole company is a mess, they can't keep anyone because the culture and values they try to portray are a facade. You actually aren't "empowered." Get everything involving management in writing.

Pros

Great benefits for retirement, and hotel discounts.

Cons

The GM creates a toxic work environment. HR didn’t respond to emails, and couldn’t handle the workload. The accountants think they’re the best thing since sliced bread and only ever send nasty emails to other staff members. Favoritism is frequently, and blatantly displayed.
