Pros

Everything is the worst there.

Cons

Never commit the mistake to work in the Ritz Carlton Doha, it's one of worst place I ever worked. The manager always are yelling, give you tasks more than 8 hours work. You will be standing for 8 hours a day wearing heels for girls. They don't care if your legs is bloody, they will ask you to stand in the lobby. You will be dying from the pain in your legs and still ask you to engage with guests and smile. How will you do that if your legs are dying from standing. They will ask you to serve food to the guest also while they don't tell you that in the job interview. Managers are very low educated. Just because of Russian nationality they can be a manager but with zero skills. They will never see the potential in you. Only one thing can give you promotion, it's having a sexual relationship with the general manager or your direct manager. There is a lot of sexual harassment. They also ask you to extend for hours so you will spend the whole day at work. The food is only Indian food, you will not find a food that you can eat only once a week , the other days it's everyday the same food. If you wanna be an esclave go work there.

Fast-paced environment that can be stressful during peak seasons. High expectations for service and attention to detail. Heavy call volume during busy periods. Schedules may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Staffing shortages can occasionally increase workload. Limited flexibility in procedures due to luxury brand standards. Advancement opportunities may vary by location, not department. Balancing multiple guest requests at once can be challenging.

Pros

Great benefits for retirement, and hotel discounts.

Cons

The GM creates a toxic work environment. HR didn’t respond to emails, and couldn’t handle the workload. The accountants think they’re the best thing since sliced bread and only ever send nasty emails to other staff members. Favoritism is frequently, and blatantly displayed.
