Pros
The company is doing well and is constantly growing which is a positive. The opportunity to grow or try new things is good. The people that work with at Concur, as a whole, are a fun bunch.
Cons
Compensation for non-sales roles are on the low end of the competitive range and even getting a bump in salary after year is joke compared to how many hours you put in. I worked in the HR department, and you start out feeling OK with how slowly things move and how many hours you are working because the department as a whole is understaffed, but then nothing changes and it becomes normal to work close to 60 hours a week and still feel like you aren't getting anything done. Management has taken this approach to maximize workload per person which only results in a stressful department and unhappy employees. Also, the way promotions work (at least int he HR department) is they want you to do your normal job and then whatever new role you might move into it BEFORE they consider promoting you and even that is a big IF so you end up doing the job of two people for the price of one. A big thing that was a deterrent for me was the lack of direction, communication, and engagement on the team I was in within the HR department.
