The bad reviews are clearly authored by real people, the good reviews seem fake like a bot. - Field Sales Account Executive SHI International Employee Review

Pros

At least they give you a geo-based area to target. But beyond that, they tell you to figure the rest out - no prospecting tools, no sales tools, no innovation. Just LinkedIn Seller.

Cons

My “Sales Director” worked at Enterprise-Rent-A-Car for 3 years before joining SHI. I had 10+ years experience at blue chip companies before joining SHI. Oh, and he got hired on at the manager level from his prestigious experience working in retail car rentals. The rest of the “sales leadership” is basically the same story. They all have fragile, inferiority complexes. If you’re not fresh out of a useless Bachelor of Arts program, they will go out of their way to target you and sabotage you.

Pros

Great place to work for especially for those in information technology looking to learn more from software and hardware vendors. The meet and greets + lunch and learns help you learn more about the products and services they provide.

Cons

None, I’ve had a positive experience with them!

Pros

This may be a good place to start in order to gain experience in the industry at the entry level. Beyond that it should be a stepping stone.

Cons

The Glassdoor numbers say a lot. Only 50% of the people who work here would recommend to a friend or colleague. In school, 70% is 1% away from failure. SHI is 20% below failure. To add, 53% of the people who work here have a negative outlook on the company's future. That seems like a trend in the wrong direction. If your career is an investment in your life, that needs to be considered before investing a career into SHI.
