Lack of position training - as an external hire navigating the internal landscape was very difficult without even the minimal direction from management or the team
PTO and Holidays - an elective day is either the day after Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve - who works those days ever??? And, if you are hired throughout the calendar year your PTO is pro-rated, so you actually start with less than you would starting Jan. 1
Shared Calendars - management requires remote employees to share calendars with full details - if you can't trust your employees then you shouldn't have hired them in the first place
Nepotism - the majority of the new hires have relatives who are in senior leadership
