Pros

The only good things about pelco are the engineering teams. Lots of talented people but due to poor management their talents are being wasted/taken for granted. Sad to see their jobs get outsourced.

Cons

Too many cons to count after Schneider acquired pelco. The executives they put in charge of pelco namely herve fages are utterly worthless. There were tons of layoffs and that little man always said he saw layoffs as a personal failure. When will he fall on his sword for constant failure? He should be fired and deported. I wouldn't trust him with a dirty napkin. Most, not all, of management are also worthless there, their constant failures result in longtime employees getting laid off or leaving due to no confidence. The way things look now pelco won't be around in the next couple of years thanks to Schneider and their idiots they placed at pelco. They deserve to go fade into oblivion and good riddance to them!

Pros

- Decent pay and good benefits - work truck with gas card -good experience

Cons

- management is disconnected from field employees - review process does not reflect employee performance since managers do not go out in field in order to properly assess job performance - poor communication which leads to chaotic project implementation - no standardization of necessary info for each customer site. You walk in completely blind each time you visit a customer you’ve never been to - safety is important, but corporate pushes redundant messaging so frequently i believe it has the opposite of the intended effect - forced to wear long sleeves FR shirts in hot weather even when you are not exposed to fire hazards any more than a standard office employee
