Pros
Some benefits are great, like after 5, 10, and 15 years of work with the company you get stocks in the company. A great policy they have is their Safety policies. Some safety policies are ridiculous, but other are great and helpful. The right to stop work if a situation is too dangerous, for example.
Cons
At least at the office I worked at the manager/subordinate relationship needs to be improved. Lack of communication, back stabbing, wiliness to look the other way when an internal policy is broken (nepotism), senior managers protecting other managers over subordinates, work ethics are lacking, and managers are not wanting to collaborate with other groups within the company. The office I worked at has kept "dead weight" employees on instead of laying them off. There were stories of project investigators of yelling at clients for various reasons and the they were never reprimanded for it.
