Pros
-Big name company on your resume. If you're a woman, from Ireland and/or close buddies with anyone from the Ireland SOC office...you will do very well here. You will get promoted often, even if your skills/contributions doesn't justify the promotion(s). And on top of that, you can get SANS vouchers easily as well. -If you don't fullfill the above requirements, do your time here and move on elsewhere.
Cons
-If you're based in America, don't expect much support from the Ireland side of the SOC. Favoritism is very apparent in the SOC for non-Americans. Exceptions include: if an American is virtually dating someone from Ireland. -Promotions will tend to be received by the folk from Ireland due to major cybersecurity stakeholders being mostly based out of Kilkenny.
