Pros
Good health benefits Senior leadership seems sincere Good mission
Cons
Stryker uses Gallup for hiring which means everyone within the organization are all the same personality types. You can outsmart Gallup (which I did) but I don't recommend it. You will feel like you're on a different planet. There is a definite Stryker type - Type A, work is life, overly confident sense of self. (Having a "best friend" at work is a big priority of management - per the MANY surveys they ask you to fill out annually.) If you don't fit within the super outgoing who don't believe in strict boundaries between work & life, you are overlooked and your accomplishments are downplayed. Opportunities stem from personal relationships (which is true for many orgs) but is championed at lower levels of the organization. This creates an atmospher of mid managers managing up and out not down...leaving individual contributors to fend for themselves. Lack of diversity is a huge problem. Coporate leadership says they are working on it, but it's not translating into a diverse new hire group. DE&I is led by a white woman.
