Pros

The compensation is fantastic, but there is a reason for that.

Cons

* Lack of personnel (Neglect to open enough positions to reasonably fill a team) * Layoffs (when short staffed already the company laid of substantially more) * Managers/Directors who do not understand the process in which they dictate. * Terrible computer systems. Nothing is automated or straightforward. Countless systems to be used with little to no training. The systems require human intervention at every painstaking step which are broken down into numerous steps for no logical reason. 20+ year old legacy systems had better automation/notification systems. * All training is done via self learn modules online that a child could pass without paying attention. Standard operating procedures are vague and useless in almost every scenario. * Abuse complaints (about managers) are swept under the rug by HR due to "not enough formal complaints" (witnessed the manager abuse multiple employees myself)

Pros

I respect the company and what it does to help make drs lives easier with providing tools

Cons

Stryker was the worst place I ever worked. Upper management needs a lot of work. I watch the VP invite new employees in and treat them like a friend until a new person come in and then push the old one out. Never any security and you always have to watch your back. Sports Medicine could be great with a different management team.
