Pros

-Ok pay, depending on where you are and your financial responsibilities -Great co-workers will make the day go fast -Lots of work -Great for a very short period, if you're in college and planning on moving on to something else.

Cons

-No time/life balance, if you have a life, or family, you need not apply. -Management has good intentions, however, mainly practices favoritism -Not remote, even though the work is totally capable of being done remotely. You can literally plug your laptop into any desk and be up and running in a few minutes. -Constant micromanaging -No chance of moving up in the company, unless, refer to above, you're the favorite. -The work itself doesn't lead to other opportunities, both within the company, nor, externally, as it's very specialized, unless you're working on something else entirely on your free time, which there isn't much of. The experience gained doing the work, in and of itself, doesn't lead to any other career opportunities based off anything similar. Which is why they encourage management skills, while those practicing said managerial skills aren't actually doing as much work as everyone else. However, because they're giving the managers a hand, they become the favorite, and they are first in line for every opportunity.

Pros

I respect the company and what it does to help make drs lives easier with providing tools

Cons

Stryker was the worst place I ever worked. Upper management needs a lot of work. I watch the VP invite new employees in and treat them like a friend until a new person come in and then push the old one out. Never any security and you always have to watch your back. Sports Medicine could be great with a different management team.
