Pros

-Potential for upward advancement -Immediate and real responsibility in managing a $20-$60 mil/yr business -Community oriented: Company gives back 5% of profits to the community, store locations conduct regular volunteer/community outreach events -Ability to interact with and manage a diverse workforce (age, culture, religion, sexual orientation etc.) -Strong focus on personal development, constant performance feedback provided at all levels of employment

Cons

-Weekend and holiday work requirements detract from personal well-being (work/life balance) -"Take it or leave it" development/promotion track -Transfers to potentially distant (hour or more commutes) store locations every 1.5-2 yrs. -Typical "politics" that are present in every corporate setting -Unrealistic expectation to always "manage talent" (constant focus on firing the 10-20% of store team that are bottom performers)
