Pros
Work at TCS if: You are fresh out of college and know nothing. You are unemployable and don't have any skill to sell. You are a dumb nincompoop who wouldn't move his/her a** to find better opportunities out there. Take this time in company as a education you are paying for. Utilize the time on bench to target any technology/ high level programming. Don't stay in the testing environment because it gets cozy.
Cons
Did I just mention Pros!!! - You will most probably be dumped in some testing team. You will get nothing out of there. - Bench times. - Industry perception of this being a government bureaucrat job. Not without reason. But is not always the case.
