Pros

There are NONE - Bell should be embarrassed to have their brand on this company

Cons

NO professionalism WHAT SO EVER - micro-managing is in the past - management should be the ones micro-managed they could learn a thing or 2. Do not expect to be paid on time - it never happens - if you get customers - management will barge in and take over all the work you have accomplished in establishing your relationship.

Pros

Commission when they pay it

Cons

They never pay on time. And when they do pay most of the time it isn’t right. Then they’ll make up some excuses as to why you won’t get your money. Notice how most of the good reviews were all done on the same day? We were told to come on here and write a review. What a joke. Head office is so entitled. The CEO is quick to call stores out in front of the group when they don’t make sales, or make any type of mistake. It’s difficult to make sales when the locations in which your stores are located are low traffic. We do the best we can, but that doesn’t seem to matter here. And it’s hard not to make mistakes when you’re not trained. They expect us to perform to the highest standards, yet don’t even train us to do so. And then wonder why we don’t make sales. I understand commission is competitive. But most managers will trample over their staff to take a sale, especially with newbies. Some staff don’t even have a permanent store. They jump from store to store because the staff turnover is so high. They don’t deliver stock you need to your store. Especially at the end of the month. It’ll be in other stores and you have to go and pick it up for your customers, because head office claims that it’s “not their responsibility to pick up phones” yet they won’t order them for your store or fill your stock because convenience is just too easy. As well, at the end of the month, there is always 0 stock. They push you for sales, and pressure you to sell but don’t actually give you anything to sell? Pathetic. There’s always supposed to be HR in companies, correct? Our Human Resources “department” has one person in it, and said person does nothing but upset people. Who are we supposed to go to if we have a problem? Oh. We have nobody. They’re losing senior staff by the second. They’re all finally realizing what goes on behind the scenes. There’s also this rule where if you don’t make a certain amount of commission in a month based on your hours, they refuse to pay you your commission. It’s not fair to the people who work in slow locations, hence why managers take their employees sales. Such a joke. Avoid this place if you can.

Pros

The training Bell provided was very good and I enjoyed representing the parent company.

Cons

Lets start with if you are considering working here, DO NOT. This company is the worst I have ever worked for, they would pay late 80% of the time, they would take deductions from your expenses or check with out notifying you. They would change policies and not inform their employee's, then punish their employee's for not following the rules. They would fire people with out just cause. There is no business plan or direction, their only goal is the sale at any cost. Management do not have the skills to create an environment to properly service the customers they have, nor do they even recognize this problem. They will lie to your face, there is no integrity in upper management. They will nickle and dime their employee's on their expenses, purchases, and manufacture bonuses. They are racist, they will turn a blind eye to completely incompetent employee's because of the color of their skin, but will treat anyone else like they are stealing from the company. They are delusional on their projections, and quota's, being 5 times over the industry average. They want the payout of the larger accounts but want the turn around to be days, not months as some of these take. They believe they are doing everything right, and all of their problems are because their sales team are lazy, they have gone through some very determined and experienced sales people in a short amount of time, they are farming contacts. Their only business strategy is to hire more people to make more calls, they have no idea who their market is or how to add value to that market so the calls they make are useless and unfruitful. They do not understand their competitors or how they compare, the only tool they have to add value is price, and by not understanding their market they often fall short even with that. Their customer service is appalling and I am ashamed and embarrassed for bringing clients to them, I have had to do personal relationship damage control from clients who extremely mad at the service and attitude they were treated with.
