Pros

Poor management, poor culture, no support and don’t promote to management based on ability to be a good leader.

Cons

The cost of service is too high for companies in the APAC region especially as research and reports are becoming opinion pieces and not based on real data now that the Analytics team has been diminished. Clients can't see value and are often frustrated with the advice given by analysts. Often the inquiries are analysts talking without understanding the problem of the clients. Leaves them with a bad experience. The international Analyst leader is very problematic. All analysts hired or promoted over the last year have been male. The leader is passive aggressive and very non inclusive. Terrible culture (hierarchical, political), does not act as they preach at all in of the things they do. Often ignores real concerns of staff and puts the blame back on the person raising concerns. With bad analysts experience and high cost offering and customer satisfaction and delivery quality diminishing unfortunately Forrester is in rapid decline. Dont waste your limited budget.

Pros

Great, intelligent colleagues that are very supportive.

Cons

Unfortunately Forrester has become a sinking ship that has stopped listening to what our clients and the market want.

Pros

- Good place to work if you're slowing down as no thinking is required.

Cons

- No strategy, no resources - No career development - If you're not the CMO's favourite (this changes every other month), you don't matter - Limited budget but heaps of expectation

Forrester Response

Every negative review is disappointing to read because it’s an individual that left us unfulfilled. I'm sorry you had a poor experience at Forrester. We continually monitor multiple employee listening channels - surveys, exit interviews, stayer interviews, Glassdoor - and our data tells us that your experience is not the norm. If there’s a consistent theme to the Forrester experience, it’s that employees tell us that they most appreciate working with thoughtful, collaborative, and curious colleagues who challenge their thinking, and that they’re intellectually stimulated by helping many of the world’s leading brands successfully navigate technology’s impact on business. We’ve had some negative reviews before, but your “no thinking required” is definitely a first! Jon Symons Vice President, Employee Experience
