Pros

Unfortunately there are no pros

Cons

No training given, left to fend for yourself. A incestuous workplace where management are all related to each other including HR. Any conversations are not confidential and unless your face fits there is no room for progression. Pay is poor with no room for improvement. Management expect you to act like your doing them a favour being employed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We genuinely value all input from our former employees, as it helps us to identify areas for improvement. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Training and development are important to us, and we are always reviewing our onboarding processes to ensure that all employees feel supported and equipped to succeed in their roles. There is core training in place for all employees. However, if you have specific suggestions on how training could be improved in relation to your department, please feel free to contact our Practice Manager Emma McNally on emma.mcnally@franklins-sols.co.uk . Regarding workplace culture, we strive to foster an inclusive and respectful environment. We take concerns about confidentiality seriously and are committed to ensuring that all employees feel safe to voice their opinions. We acknowledge your comments about career progression and compensation. We strive to reward and recognise our employees and constantly monitor the local job market to ensure our salaries remain competitive with comparable roles. Your feedback is invaluable, and we appreciate your insights as we continue to make our company a better place to work.

Pros

There are no pros unfortunately.

Cons

There is a lot of nepotism. If you are a part of that group then the benefits must be luxurious. If not, it is a very unhealthy place to work. Riddled with politics starting from management down. There is absolutely no work life balance. They do not care about you as an employee, you are simply a number to them. The pay is on the lower end. The training is non existent.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your experience at Franklins Solicitors LLP. We appreciate your comments as they help us understand the areas where we need to improve. We are truly sorry to hear that your time with us was not positive. We take concerns about workplace culture seriously and strive to create an environment where all employees feel valued and supported, regardless of their background. Your comments regarding training and compensation are noted. We strive to ensure that all employees receive the support they need to grow and succeed and there is core training in place for all employees. However, if you have specific suggestions on how training could be improved in relation to your department, please feel free to contact our Practice Manager Emma McNally on emma.mcnally@franklins-sols.co.uk . As an employer, we deeply value our employees and care about their wellbeing. We recognise the importance of work-life balance and would always encourage employees to make their manager aware if they were feeling overwhelmed. We have a number of ongoing initiatives in place to support wellbeing, including; access to the Employee Assistance Scheme; a programme of activities for Mental Health Awareness Week; quarterly Above and Beyond Awards to recognise employees who have gone the extra mile; regular social events, a quiet reflection room (in our Milton Keynes office) and various ad-hoc appreciation initiatives throughout the year. We also offer hybrid working and flexible working where appropriate. Thank you again for your comments. We are dedicated to making necessary changes to improve our workplace for current and future employees.
