- Salary is incredibly poor, this is an inter-departmental consensus for juniors and managers - There is a group of SLT that do not make effort to get to know staff, are often rude and ignorant of new directions needed to drive the company forward - Lacks forward looking direction for growth of magazine and online audience - Employee surveys lack purpose and do not allow staff to suggest areas for improvement across the business - Occasions where managers/senior managers have disrespected or belittled younger staff during times of stress. Better manager training could be implemented to avoid this - Progression within the company is measured on an individual leaving/a space opening up, rather than promoting individuals based on skills or merit
