Pros

- purpose driven - transparent leadership communications - highly innovate - doing really meaningful work, - depends how you view challenges but shifting an entire function, HR to design their roles differently, design orgs and op models differently is challenging work.

Cons

The only con is what comes with every scale up and that we are still figuring things out in a market that is very dynamic.

Pros

-Competitive salary -Remote workforce (unless you're in a hub city) -There are some great people to work with

Cons

-Most of product/engineering is based in Israel, making collaboration nearly impossible. -I constantly felt not enabled with information, which made selling hard when you don't know how to speak to the product (often a black box) -There is no culture, lol. Morale has tanked a lot since two rounds of layoffs and lack of revenue. Everyone is stressed. -Most sellers haven't hit quota in over 12-16 months (yikes) -Gloat does not drink its own koolaid. We sell the value of employee productivity and employee movement, but it is literally non existent internally. Again, yikes. -Leadership has become toxic and desperate, resulting in poor ways of working and poor management approach -New product development is slow -No career movement internally (ironic given Gloat sells a talent marketplace)

The challenges of a global workforce are varied and openly addressed at Gloat. Our solutions and guidelines for engagement are centered around building bridges, prioritizing collaboration and information sharing, and increasing relational awareness. Difficult decisions were made regarding our workforce - ones that we did not ever want to make. This is a similar story for many companies in this moment of time. As we turn the corner, we are leaning hard into connection and building trust. At Gloat, career growth is not just a linear exercise, it encompasses experience opportunities that build skill and enhance influence. While there have been recent promotions, we recognize the ability of our employees to make an impact on the org no matter their position. Thank you for sharing and for providing us an opportunity to respond. We have noted the Pros you listed as well.

Thank you for taking the time to share this review. We are sorry that your experience at Gloat thus far has not been all that it could be. We encourage our employees to provide feedback directly so that they can be contributors to making our company better. While we will pass this on internally, we also hope you will be able to have an open conversation with your manager, or HR partner, and share your concerns. Thank you again.
