Pros
Some of the people working there have become friends I intend to keep for a long time, there are some wonderful people here.
Cons
There is NO sick pay, and 3 occurrences of illness, you WILL receive a formal warning. If you’re late or need to attend a doctors office, you will be asked to make up the time back. The holiday is the basic minimum of 20 days excluding bank holidays. There are NO benefits to working here other than being paid monthly - which is hardly a benefit when the amount isn’t reflected in the responsibilities they like you to have. You won’t be allowed to leave before 17:00, managers will even ask you why you’re attempting to leave at 16:59. There’s emphasis on call centre culture here, and much of what you do is a numbers game. Your job role will be switched and changed like the weather. If you’re away from your desk more than often, they will pull you up. If your clothing isn’t ‘office’ they will pull you up. If a workplace could feel like a prison, this would be it.
