You cant establish a regular sleep pattern because they are understaffed and expect you to come in at all hours. If you want to make a doctors appointment you have to use vacation to make sure they dont tell you to work OT at the last minute and ruin your personal appointments. They will make you wake up 4 hours early several times a week and come in to cover other employees vacation days. They will force you to work a split / swing shift where you work days and nights every week.
