      Pros

      A great place to work if you're driven, ambitious, and love to recruit. I gained so much experience at Magna working with different clients mainly tech companies with really cool products. This I'd say really accelerated my career in recruitment and exposed me to working with clients in both Canada and the US. Management and the team truly cared and had opportunities for extra training. Very open and honest type of feedback from the CEO even though he was really busy did set time aside to help me with anything. Good team environment too, just a great group of people who care and support each other.

      Cons

      Could be a big learning curve for someone who's new to recruitment or used to a slower pace, but really rewarding for someone who's motivated and puts in the effort to keep getting better.

      There are no Pros to working here. I hear you can make good money though.

      Cons

      Beware of your mental health when joining this team. This is my personal opinion, I am sure others may have a different one but this is what I endured. I am leaving this review in hopes that some feedback has been taken into consideration and they adjust a few of their methods as you do not get an exit interview when departing from this company. 1. In my opinion, the management at this company at times can be harsh and unable to control their temper or act in a professional manner. It is very easy to agitate management. 2. In my opinion, management rarely praises your work unless you are a favourite employee. 3. In my opinion, management does not invest the time to mentor you or guide you. 4. In my opinion, management does not exercise patience when delivering feedback. All the best to this company’s future.

      Pros

      It's an enjoyable place to work if you are career focused, it's a very positive culture and each team member wants to make everyone better. There are many things that I greatly enjoy about working here is that we all work together on a project that comes in, and we all push each other to ensure the work is getting done, it's a fail forward environment. The ownership group really cares about it's people as well which is not common in most organizations. At Magna we collaborate as a team to best serve our customers. If you're willing to work hard, put in the time, make the effort, train and get better each and everyday it's extremely rewarding. The microphone is also alot of fun as we all get to share our win's and what we learned from our mistakes. You also get to prospect your leads, use the companies leads, and work with their business development team to get your desk going, this is a truly great benefit for a first year recruiter. Also, free parking and many offices to work in.

      Cons

      More strategy meetings with the team would be great. The company provides it's employees with plenty of resources and support so there really are no con's. Magna is not for everyone, you have to be driven and willing to put in the time to get up and running. A committed mindset is what works best with the team. That's why I love it!!
