Pros

Good for getting experience in the field. Coworkers are great. Benefits are fine for a single person- not sure about families.

Cons

Middle and upper management are messy. There is a lack of transparency surrounding pay. Every promotion seems to be delayed for no reason. Merit increases and bonuses do not keep up with inflation at all.

Pros

Opportunity for growth, nice colleagues

Cons

Medpace provides flexibility during inclement weather, such as use of work from home allotments, flex time and use of paid time off. We encourage employees to prioritize their personal safety.

Pros

To be honest, not many. I like a few of my coworkers. Thats about it.

Cons

Mundane daily work, management looks down on you if you didnt go to an elite university, they value PHDs over everyone else regardless if that PHD candidate has any common sense or leadership abilities. Promotions are based on nothing. The pay is laughably low. The benefits are terrible and I had better healthcare when I worked retail. The CEO is a joke of a human being. Middle management are worthless and upper management are clueless. Everyone is scared to death of getting fired. The workplace is just toxic and really hurts your mental health. Some managers try, but they really have no power. There is no WFH flexibility anymore, and there isnt enough parking for everyone. So yes, theyre making more people come to office, but took parking away. Many departments are at risk to be taken over by AI and the CEO even bragged about this in a conference call. I could go on. Dont believe a word they tell you at recruiting events - 80% of what they told me was a complete lie. Just dont work here unless you have to. I dont know a single person who enjoys it, unless you like working 60 hours a week, and getting paid for 40, below market value.

We are saddened by your view of Medpace. We have very high standards for our new hires and look for a strong academic record and demonstrated success in previous roles in order to match candidates to our openings. In regards to promotions, Medpace values the growth of each employee, which is why we have multiple levels structured within each position for continual advancement opportunities. We do have a designated team that regularly reviews our compensation and benefits to ensure we are competitive within our industry. We have also made recent changes to our remote work policy in support of our culture of in-office collaboration, while still providing opportunities for associates to work from home when personal flexibility is needed. However, due to continued growth, we are in the midst of construction on our Cincinnati campus, which has temporarily created some parking stress. As a result, we have implemented a free off-site parking option for eligible employees. Lastly, during the recruitment process, we try to be as transparent as possible regarding the job responsibilities, compensation, benefits, training, and expectations of each individual role. We encourage you to discuss any concerns or suggestions with your supervisor or HR Representative.

Pros

Integration into the clinical research industry, PTO, work schedule, ability to form professional connections

Cons

Inadequate pay, poor upper management, poor CEO functioning (it is clear and evident the oversight he has over ALL company decisions. Decisions seem to be made rashly with no insight from others), reversed Work from Home policy, terrible training program, high turnover and frequent team changes, poor reputation among CROs. CEO clearly doesn’t value employees and has said he’d replace us all with AI if he could.

Pros

Young workforce-great for new grads!

Cons

Young workforce-no one knows what they are doing, including managers Poor compensation, little-to-no transparency from upper management. It is clear that Medpace prioritizes high turnover to keep operation costs low...which works in the short-run, but the poor quality of the final product speaks for itself.
