Pros

You’ll master the art of surviving chaos. Also, it’s a great crash course in how not to run a company.

Cons

Let’s begin with HR — a department that exists purely to nod at the CEO’s every whim. Independent thought? Never heard of it. The CEO, meanwhile, treats hiring like a hobby and firing like a sport. Employee retention is apparently a myth here. Work-life balance doesn’t exist — just late-night meetings at 10 p.m. (or later) because the management wakes up around sunset. There are no perks, no cab, no structure, and no clarity. Everyone is randomly titled “manager,” and targets change every month to ensure no one ever qualifies for incentives. In a shining display of professionalism, the HR and CEO held a meeting to analyze an employee’s dating life — and even decided that must be the reason for his/her exit. Truly pioneering work in turning gossip into company policy

Pros

Working at Mentor Match has been a mixed experience. The company has a very chill environment, and my first six months here were actually quite good. It’s a place where you can learn, but the lack of systems and stability can sometimes overshadow the positives.

Cons

On the downside, timings are rigid with no flexibility, no hybrid option, and no cab service. Responsibilities and KPIs seem to change every two hours, making it feel unstructured and not properly channelized. Performance is also not consistently recognized, which can be demotivating.

Pros

It's startup so the usual energy of startup is exciting. I also found interesting that they were building a space where teachers were going to turn to leaders.

Cons

Teachers are turned to leaders without any training and hence the space turned into a very toxic rat race Anyone who spoke against the management or the favourites was bullied The worst thing was when I exited the CEO showed as if he has removed me to win his position among the team
