Pros

- Some talented individual contributors doing their best to drive results - Opportunity to wear multiple hats and gain diverse experience

Cons

The company faces several significant challenges that impact employee experience: Leadership and Strategy: The organization struggles with consistent strategic direction, leading to frequent pivots that affect both team morale and product development. Decision-making often feels reactive rather than proactive, resulting in inefficient resource allocation and unclear priorities. The lack of transparent communication around company direction has created an environment of uncertainty. Job Security: Multiple rounds of restructuring have created an unstable work environment. The company's approach to workforce management has led to unpredictable staffing decisions that seem disconnected from performance metrics. Product Development: The product strategy needs significant refinement. Customer feedback implementation is inconsistent, and there's insufficient focus on resolving core product issues before pursuing expansion. This has resulted in a fragmented user experience and mounting technical debt. Company Culture: The workplace dynamics are challenging, with apparent preferential treatment influencing professional growth opportunities. This has created an uneven playing field for career advancement and recognition.

Pros

None - Exec staff, HR are useless

Cons

I regret to say that my experience with Plunge was extremely disappointing due to the pervasive nepotism within the organization. It became evident that family connections and personal relationships take precedence over merit and competence. This has resulted in unqualified individuals being placed in key positions, undermining the effectiveness and morale of the entire team. The lack of transparency in hiring and promotion processes has created an environment where hard work and talent are not recognized or rewarded. Instead, favoritism runs rampant, leading to a toxic workplace culture where employees feel undervalued and demotivated. Until the company addresses these issues and prioritizes merit-based practices, it will continue to struggle with inefficiency.

Pros

Currently the SVP Chris has this company running into the ground.

Cons

Toxic leadership from the TOP. SVP came in a destroyed the culture in weeks. Owners to focused on money to see that their customer service and operation issues are directly connected to their SVP and any management that spoke out about his illegal practices of padding end of quarter numbers and sending out products that where known too be faulty where fired for no reason. Every employee that I know that is still there scared for their jobs and looking for new employment cause the only thing that makes sense is that they are trying to fluff the numbers to sell the company. They also still claim to have made in the USA products when they have out sourced 90 percent of manufacturing to China. This once great company that was one of the best places to work with a great culture has fell so hard away from their Core values it's a joke. If you like being berated and talked down to and have zero support from HR cause they think that passing out drinks during a heatwave is all HR should do then this is the company for you! They'll tell you it's 5 eights or 4 ten shifts then make you work the weekends and threaten your job if you say no!!
