      Worst disability service provider to work for!

      Pros

      Helping people with disabilities to overcome barriers to regain meaningful employment and a better life for them and their families

      Cons

      Extremely BAD management! Many colleagues have been bullied and intimidated to force them out or have been bullied, intimidated and micro managed to meet impossible targets so they can easily sack you. So many good people I have worked with have been sacrificed. Rocky Bay senior management have employed young little Hitlers to aggressively cut staff only to re employ their own friend into positions. I would NOT recommend this organisation to anyone!

      Pros

      The organisation has a very clear sense of its mission and purpose, which is to optimise the quality of living for people with disability. This is really important when working for a not-for-profit. The frontline staff are incredibly hard-working and passionate. That is where the pros end

      Cons

      This is a rigid organisation that is stuck in the past. Staff pay is really poor, except for certain corporate staff. There is absolutely no flexibility for staff, which is disappointing particularly when the majority of staff is female and has care responsibilities. HR are unapproachable and rude. Becoming a very corporate structure that largely values money and growth, over its hard-working staff The infrastructure hasn't kept pace with the huge organisational growth
